Services
Benton’s services range from general consultative and styling support, design sourcing, and assisting not only with unpacking, but also organizing and styling your new space, to full service implementation and project management.
Design Styling
One of Benton’s great loves for design and style has been to start with the basics and find great key pieces to complement your current space, but your future spaces as well. If you already have those key, anchor pieces and you’re just not sure where to go from there, Benton can help. She can add style, texture, and color to accents throughout a given space. Benton can support clients in selecting other pieces to complement a space, recommending pieces through online sources (finding dupes if you’re on a tight budget after a costly move), or going shopping with clients to pick key pieces together.
Organizing After Unpacking
Moving can be an overwhelming experience by itself. The last thing clients want to do is unbox, organize, and style. Many clients admit that they let things sit in boxes for weeks or even months after moving, because they simply do not have time, or do not want to deal with it. This is where Benton can assist clients. She will come in and not only help unbox, but will organize items in cabinets, closests, and other small spaces. She will work with clients to understand their daily needs and the flow of the home to place items in practical spaces. In most circumstances, her unpacking and organizing can be done in 1-2 days.
Pricing
An hourly rate fee is assigned to each project after the initial consultation.
Face-to-face meetings, whether consultative, or in-person shopping would be charged as needed.
Individual work completed by Benton, whether designing, ordering, styling, organizing, or general project management, would be invoiced to client at a regular cadence, once a client engagement agreement is executed.
Initial Consultations
An initial phone consultation will be provided to my clients at no charge to assess what their visions are for their space(s) and determine if my approach to design would be a good fit. After the initial consult, subsequent meetings would be scheduled as needed, based on the clients needs and the complexity of the design projects at hand.
Sourcing
I love scouring through stores, flea markets, and antique stores to find fun, interesting, and one-of-a-kind pieces to complement a space. I believe that going through this experience with clients not only involves them in the initial process for making a space their own, but also supporting them in the future when they want to find additional pieces to incorporate into their space as well.
Project Management
From deciding on furniture, fixes, and fabrics, ordering everything needed, and installing each of the items personally, a full-service design to completion service would be offered. While there would be a variety of face-to-face meetings at various points in a given project, A majority of the work would be left to me from coordination to completion.
